ECLR PROJECT

Which stands for Environmental Conservation and Land Right Programme-(ECLR)

Being funded by Trocaire

Project location. Omoro district in the sub counties of Koro and Bobi.

Project Duration is 3 years (2018-2021)

1.    Men and women in Acholi sub region are sustainably using and managing their natural resources

2.    Men and women practicing agro-ecological approaches and utilizing wild food sources Community men and women have knowledge and skills on the value/use of wild and traditional food sources    

3.    Men and women have knowledge and skills on agro-ecological approaches

4.    Women have increased income and decision making power

5.    Women are members of Village Savings and Loan Associations (VSLAs)

6.    Women in the VSLA groups have skills in VSLA methodologies

7.    VSLA members and their male partners have information, Knowledge and skills linked to behavioural change and empowerment

8.    Members of VSLAs women's groups have increased knowledge, understanding, interest and capacity to apply for financial services from commercial providers

 

Empowering Marginalized to Access Control and productive Resources

Sustainable livelihood& land Rights promotion project

Goal: To contribute to the establishment of peaceful resettled vibrant communities in Northern Uganda where the rights of people, particularly the vulnerable, are protected

1 To improve food production and income capacity at community levels.

2-To promote land tenure security, prevent and resolve land conflicts

Beneficaries after securing Land Rights decided to put land in to productive Use-Good adoption to Best Agronomic  practice  for increased production and income at house level.
